Founded by a black entrepreneur who immigrated to Canada in 2015, RARE Partners emerged from firsthand experience of navigating entrepreneurial barriers. Recognizing the significant gaps in support for black entrepreneurs, RARE Partners was established with a singular vision: to provide the capital, mentorship, and market access necessary for black entrepreneurs to thrive.

Founder
Driven by passion, resilience, and a deep commitment to empowering others, Richard Amatokwu embodies the entrepreneurial spirit at the heart of RARE Partners. After immigrating to Canada in 2015, Richard personally experienced the barriers black entrepreneurs often encounter when building businesses in new and challenging markets. Turning these obstacles into opportunities, Richard established RARE Partners to bridge the systemic gaps in support and resources. Known for his visionary leadership, strategic insight, and unwavering dedication to equity and inclusion, Richard continues to inspire and champion black entrepreneurship throughout Canada.
